Gradberry and Heriot-Watt University strike up Knowledge Partnership
Dubai, UAE. March 11th, 2012: Heriot-Watt University’s Dubai Campus has become the first University in Academic City to sign a knowledge partnership with Gradberry, a website designed and developed with the aim of supporting students and fresh graduates in their search for employment.
The partnership is key in raising employability for our students in the region and increasing opportunities for Heriot-Watt University as an industry link. As a part of the agreement, Heriot-Watt students will be actively encouraged to use the portal, both for finding jobs and obtaining career advice through Gradberry’s blog, the Fruit Bowl.
Kathryn Taylor, from the Careers Advisory Service at Heriot-Watt Dubai Campus, said: “We are excited about being able to promote Gradberry as a knowledge partner to show students that they have wider options in their careers than just those provide by the University. The design and content of the website will be very attractive to our students, particularly in mind of their extensive use of social media.
“With our own Careers Website recently launched we feel that the Gradberry portal compliments our services by offering further tools such as the “fruit bowl” for top tips and discussions, and blogs that we look forward to being a part of.”

We hope to have a long and fruitful partnership with Gradberry to ensure we are providing the best possible facilities for our students.”
“Gradberry has become the leading careers portal for students and graduates, across the Middle East. The knowledge agreement has strengthened the bond between Heriot-Watt and Gradberry,” said Gradberry CEO Iba Masood, “Our goal is to inform Heriot-Watt students how to effectively use the portal to benefit them, and encourage them to do so to find opportunities on Gradberry.com.”
