United Designers and The Big Start giveaway!

If you have big dreams to launch your own business, The Big Start is here to give you a BIG BREAK! The Big Start is a student entrepreneur competition for final year undergraduate students and all postgraduate students studying in the UAE. United Designers is the brainchild of The Big Start’s inaugural winner, Yahya Stapic.

Two winners will receive a chance to pick up some fabulous outfits from United Designers! Answer the question below to win two vouchers worth AED 500/- each to shop at United Designers at Mirdiff City Centre.

    When I was student, I was fat so my worst fashion mistake was that I weared oversized clothing that just plain wrong: huge knee-reaching t-shirts, baggy pants, you get the point !!!

    As a student, I did not know what “Fashion” means! I used to wear sandals with sock at school, while in parties, i wear many accessories upon plaid/decorated cloths ..

    My biggest fashion faux pas was when I wore orange socks on fuschia wedges just to stand out of the crowd but failed miserably …… The other one is when I wore Tees and jeans to a formal party I was invited for the very first time…. My fashion sense t that time was Zilch but now I have improved tremendously by following my fashion icons ….. My biggest Fashion icon is Victoria Beckham… I look upon her and follow her religiously!!!

    I once went through a faze! (long story) and i thought this black and purple lace puffy skirt looked nice! (It looked much worse than how it sounds) Now i’m out of the faze i regret it and i try to forget but the worst thing is i looked like a toilet roll cover! I didn’t think my friends cared but the other day it got brought up and boy did they laugh. I won’t be forgetting about it that easily!!!!!!!!!! This was really one of my biggest!!!
